Children with a encouraging tending are seriously less likely to go through related problems and depression.

Many other studies have shown that the generality of mental health problems facing children as young as six years to eight years old. The recent study was conducted on 25 kids aged between 12 and 15. These were the children who describe their parents to be harsh. The children’s mental health then compared to children who describes having encouraging parents. Harsh parenting was found to affect the kids’ DNA. Genome mapping showed that these children had increased variation in methylation. This is associated with depression and other mental health problems. Children with strict parents have more chances of depression and other mental health problems.
